Disturbing Discovery of the Day:



As I sit here happily typing away on a "Brief in Opposition to Commonwealth's Motion to Appeal," I discovered this joyful little part of the Virginia Constitution:



Article VI section 1: The General Assembly may allow the Commonwealth to appeal in all cases, including those involving the life and liberty of a person.
